The Museum Student Engagement Society is an undergraduate and graduate student club that exists toenrich the student experience at Syracuse University by fostering appreciation for visual arts and historical material culture. The organization creates opportunities for students from all disciplines and backgrounds to engage meaningfully with the SU Art Museum’s collections and exhibitions, developing visual literacy and cultural awareness that enhance their educational journey. By making art and cultural objects accessible and relevant to everyday student life, we cultivate a community where engagement with creative and historical works becomes a valued part of the Syracuse experience, regardless of academic major.
The group hosts biweekly meetings at the Syracuse University Art Museum on Wednesday evenings at 5:00 pm. Meeting topics and events vary, prior attendance is not required to start coming to meeting!
