The Syracuse University Art Museum collections and exhibitions serve as catalysts for teaching and research projects across disciplines.

Museum staff are available to consult with faculty and preK-12 teachers to identify ways that the museum can best support course goals. This includes identifying relevant works of art for discussion, facilitating gallery conversations, or developing object study sessions.

The museum setting promotes active learning and interdisciplinary thinking, challenging students and teachers to develop evidence-based interpretations and to make connections across cultures and time.
