FreeHear artist Joiri Minaya and curator Cristina Pardo Porto (Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics) talk about the exhibition Joiri Minaya: Unseeing the Tropics at the Museum. The conversation will explore Minaya’s use of lens-based media, collage, and performance to resist the inner workings of the colonial gaze.
