Inspired by Gordon Parks: Community Showcase

Join us as we celebrate the exhibition “Homeward to the Prairie I Come: Gordon Parks Photographs from the Beach Museum of Art.” Hear from community members who created new work inspired by the multi-faceted career of Gordon Parks.

Listen to music from the SENSES Project, watch a short film by Teens with a Movie Camera, and learn about the work behind the Photography and Literacy project (PAL). Zines inspired by the exhibition will be available to take home!

Refreshments and pizza will be provided. And of course, take a last look at the Gordon Parks exhibition before it closes on December 10th.
