The Syracuse University Art Museum is Syracuse University’s fine arts museum, offering the university community and the general public a dynamic schedule of engaging and thought-provoking exhibitions, all of them enriched by public programs. Exhibitions are presented at both our main campus gallery, located in the Shaffer Art Building on the Kenneth A. Shaw Quadrangle, as well as at our New York City venue, the Louise and Bernard Palitz Gallery, located in Syracuse University's Lubin House at 11 E. 61st Street in midtown Manhattan.
Additional exhibitions can be viewed at a variety of museums and galleries throughout the nation as a result of the museum's Traveling Exhibition Program. Offering affordable exhibitions to museums and university art galleries, these exhibitions are generated from Syracuse University’s encyclopedic art collection and collaborating institutions.
